Are you planning on doing work within one of our local historic districts?  Below you will find an application for a Certificate of Appropriateness (COA).  A COA issued by the Historic Preservation Commission is required before any work can begin.  To help in planning your work please review a copy of the Design Guidelines also available for download at the bottom of this page.  There is one for residential and one for commercial properties.  This Historic Preservation Commission meets on the second Tuesday of each month. To be placed on the agenda a complete application must be submitted to our office two weeks before the meeting.  Failure to do so may result in an applicant having to wait until the following month.
