Technical Services
The City of Thomasville’s Technical Services Department provides numerous supporting services to all city departments. In addition, we provide several services directly to the consumer. Our primary responsibilities include; Management of SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), electric metering, traffic control systems, Telecommunications (LAN/WAN, fiber optic systems, commercial telecom delivery, internal and external telephony services) and the county wide 800 MHz Radio system.
While most of our services do not provide direct interaction with the customers we serve, our efforts are a vital component of the quality of services provided by the City of Thomasville. We are dedicated to maintaining quality in all services and strive for outstanding customer service in all that we do.
