Country Oaks Municipal Golf Course
Country Oaks Golf Course is a municipal golf course owned and operated by the City of Thomasville for the pleasure of residents and visitors. It is located just 4 miles from Thomasville on Georgia Highway 122 (Pavo Road). The warm, southern climate allows the course to be open year round.
Country Oaks is beautifully located in a wooded setting accented by three lakes and surrounded by areas of wild azaleas, dogwoods, pines, oaks, and magnolias. The course is a par 72.

Cassidy Park
Sheltered picnicking; boating (small trolling motors only), fishing, and pier. Electricity is available. No restrooms. Location: Cassidy Road
Cherokee Lake Park
Boating (small trolling motor only), fishing, piers, nature area, playground and picnicking/grills, and 1 mile paved walking trail. No electricity. Restrooms are available. Location: Thomasville Rose Garden at Covington Avenue
Francis Weston Park
Sheltered picnicking/grills,playground area, ball field, track, nature area. No electricity. Restrooms are available. Location: Felix Street
MacIntyre Park
Sheltered picnicking, playground area and nature area. No electricity or restrooms. Location: E. Washington and Glenwood
Northside Park
Tennis, playground equipment, and basketball. No electricity or restrooms. Location: Adjacent to Balfour School on Chatham Drive
Paradise Park
Picnicking, lighted gazebo, nature area and playground area. Restrooms are available across the street inside of the Chamber of Commerce. Location: South Broad and Hansell Street
Remington Park
Picnicking, grills, tennis, playground areas, lighted ball fields, skateboarding, and tennis. Restrooms are available. Location: Remington Avenue Near Pinetree Blvd
Varnedoe Park
Baseball and basketball park. Lights and restrooms available during games. Location: Varnedoe Street
Remington Park Ball Field

Skate Park of Thomasville
Skateboarding and rollerblading. Open to the public. Location: Remington Avenue

YMCA Pool

Hours of Operation: Pool hours: Monday-Friday, 1 pm-7 pm and Saturday 1 pm-6 pm.
