Communications Department
The Communications Department works with City Departments and the elected officials to provide accurate and timely information to the citizens and the news media about local government, services, and programs. Traditional communication tools such as press releases , public service announcements, newsletters, brochures, photos and other publications are used to distribute the City message. The office is also charged with administering the City web site and monitoring the City's overall internal and external communication strategy.

The Communications Department also includes the CNS Channel 6, which provides the Thomasville area with information concerning community programs and events as well as local government services, programs and activities.
