Mission Statement

We will ensure community-wide security and quality of life through training, respect and ethical standards.

To accomplish this mission, the Department provides response to and mitigation of fires, medical emergencies, hazardous materials incidents, rescues and other emergencies as they arise.  These services are provided immediately to any person who has a need anywhere within the corporate limits of the City of Thomasville.
