Fire Department Training_November

Trianing required 3 teams: an inside team, a team to man the hose and a back-up safety team. The teams rotate out and all firefighters must complete a first floor and a second floor evolution.

Utilizing thier burn building, Thomasville Fire Rescue underwent a department-wide training to satisfy state requirements. Though the state requires department-wide of training once per year, TFR continuously trains throughout the course of the year, although it's usually in smaller groups.

The house that was used for the fire investigator training is located next to the Weston YMCA on Pine Street. The YMCA, who owns the property, has granted Thomasville Fire Rescue use of the structure for training purposes.
